Jailbreakme 3 "Saffron" released.

Heute morgen wurde Jailbreakme 3, codenamed Saffron, von comex veröffentlicht. Dies ist das erste iPad 2 Jailbreak.
Es ist momentan nur mit iOS 4.3.3 und allen ARMv7-Geräten (ab iPhone 3GS und iPod touch 3G, beide iPads) kompatibel.

Wie gehts? Ganz einfach:
Geht mit Safari auf eurem iDevice auf http://jailbreakme.com und installiert Cydia wie eine App aus dem App Store.

Ich empfehle euch, nach dem Jailbreak "PDF Patcher 2" aus Cydia zu installieren, da dies der bisher einzige Weg ist, den Exploit zu fixen (bis Apple 4.3.4 released). Mit dem Saffron PDF-Exploit kann man, wie auch schon bei Jailbreakme 2 "Star" über eine einfache Website schädliche Software installieren.

Yep. Ist untethered, falls du das meinst. Löschen kannst dus halt mit nem Restore.

Du kannst auf jede Firmware auf die du willst. Außerdem ist der iPod touch 4G sowohl durch limera1n als auch durch SHAtter jailbroken4life.
Du hast keine Nachteile dadurch. Wenn du zu viel Müll installierst, wird der iPod langsamer, aber das liegt in deiner Hand.
