Server

    A lot of Players want to leave styx...the most of my Guild & Union are leaving Styx!
    I test today the Server "PlaySro"...and I was talking with some Players there.
    There are more than 2000 Players online evrytime!


    On that Server are enought things you can do:
    They made enought events, Capture the Flag, Uniques a lot Players make PvP, Fortresswar, Jobwar and and and
    you can vote for PlaySro to get free Silk -> more Players
    and enought more which I see in the next time, but all players I asked, said that its not boring since they play!


    "My tipps for you:"
    make more publicity, more events open ctf
    add more Teamplay ...with Special Quest ...Instances or something like that
    Add new special 9D weapons and gear special ridepets,special dresses.. they dont have to be much better
    only that players have some destinations


    The most players are botting to farm Sox and items etc.


    My idea to add Second Chinese which starts in Const. like in World of Warcraft Alliance and Horde...
    Add stuff which earn experience what players want and use it to get more fun for players!


    or your Server will die in the next 4-6 Weeks ...-> take some ideas at playsro

    The server comes across dull and doesn't provide much fun in it's current state. The number of players dropped harshly since over a week. It's clearly a bad sign, and I don't know if the Styx Admins care enough about that. There are basically zero appearences from the admins and zero interaction with the players. Maybe upcoming things will come, but I'm more doubtful about it.


    It's not like Silkroad is completly dead. Playsro proves that there are still people who wants to play Sro. Or how did they manage to gain such popularity? Surely their own changes and appearences ingame played a role here.


    The server will die in a few weeks, if things doesn't change drastically.


    I'm also bored as hell and we will see how long this will go on.

    Even though I don't agree with all of your suggestions, especially not with the vote4silk one, I agree that there definitely is a growing problem which should be taken care of as soon as possible.


    We already discussed the current situation in the german "Laberthread" a couple times and we offered plenty of good (?) ideas on how to possibly improve the server.


    I am sure the team is aware of our current problems and working on a solution to satisfy everyone...

    You Guys won't get it right?


    The Problem is: Every Server that is working fine or worked fine were really serious projects. The Server was the owners work, doesn't matter if it was ecsro, sun world or playsro.
    They made this server to thier work.


    The 7th-Nation Team do this by the way. They got their life and an other "real" work/school.


    This shows up on the Server. There is nothing to do.
    Hopefully Admins will notice it before it is too late.

    First of all, at Ecsro/Swsro times, there were no competition and no server files public. Both servers had their own core players and the arguable respective "capable" teams. So it's wrong to name those two servers. In Playsro case, well... An active team pays off, it seems.


    It doesn't help if the Team does these things "by the way, or here and there". What will happen when there are just 50 players off almost 400 left? Right, the server will die.


    I was more on the declining player number which causes even more boredom.

    i f we opend our server, we got some problems with ddo´s attacks so we we were not able to implement new things in our game
    we try our best to make all suggestions possible, but it will be done step by step
    like as nfscarbon said we do this by the way, its not our main occupation like other projects
    its hard to get every player satisfied, we also know atm some players are angry and leaving, but what we should do now? we can promise we will try to get styx famous again...
    and i will say thank you to our community and help us to make it happen <3

    my opinion:


    the first thing you should do is try to get on a ranking like "http://www.xtremetop100.com/silkroad-online"


    Because exactly THIS site is what you get when you enter "silkroad pserver" on google.


    If styx appears on that side and there are guys searching for 90 cap only chinese server, they will probably come to styx. i promise.


    But i think you will have to add "vote for silk" here then. but i do no think this is too difficult.


    Just do this, please.
