Y'all have been waiting, and I am finally going to tell you what we were discussing in the last few days.
First of all, we will be holding scheduled maintenance every Saturday at 1:00 am server time.
Schedules are taking longer, therefor the server downtime will reduce dramatically and we can thoroughly test the changes we applied to the live server to ensure a better experience for the users overall.
I created a Twitter account to keep you guys up to date during inspections. Please follow me if you want to be up to date. Furthermore we implemented a little twitterbox on the homepage if you do not have a twitter account. The twitter account can be found here.
Regarding the long-awaited methods of gaining styx points, we will be implementing a weekly ranking for the triangular job conflict system.
The top10 users of each respective job will gain 1500 styx points every Friday during Maintenance. (This means top10 traders, top10 thieves and top10 hunters).
To keep track of who is in the top10 we will add a new ranking on our homepage with the respective jobs, level and current job experience.
Furthermore I want to adress a change with this aswell. During maintenance, everyone's joblevel will be RESET to 1, experience reset to 0. (You will still have the job in wich's league you are in).
This is to ensure fair chances of gaining styx points and giving everyone an equal opportunity to join later, without too much pressure.
We are still at the beginning of this Server and I know there is much fuzz about little things here and there, but we will be continuing to implement new features and balance out the game, step by step.
